Carol Eloff (Lourens)

Completed matric in 1989 and received my degree, B Occ Ther at the University of the Orange Free State in 1993.

 

Started my career at Baragwanath Hospital and subsequently also at Kalafong Hospital and spent 7 years doing general paediatrics in government set-ups.

 

Started working in private practice in 2000 and did my courses on sensory integration in 2000 and 2001. In 2013 the introduction to neuro-developmental therapy was done and also in 2013 training to do and administer the ADOS-2 assessment, was done in England. Since then I have been working closely with peadiatricians and neurologists, using the ADOS-2 for diagnoses and then also the intervention of children on the autistic spectrum. Courses in “DIR Floortime” (2014) and Astronaut therapy (2015) was also done, and are being incorporated in therapy, as the need may be.

 

My practice has been in the Montana/Sinoville area since 2003 and we work closely together with the doctors and schools in our area. From 2008 a full time speech therapist has also been on premises, working with us.
A full range of problems and challenges, concerning children and their development are addressed by our practice.
